Frilly Cogs

This one uses textured polgons to display an image of the screen. The octagons rotate and one of them makes a frill of the background image.
The effect reminds me of crocheted doileys ...
I would really like to be able to take the frilly part of the image and save it as a transparent gif as I think that would provide some really lovely sprites but I'm not sure how that could be achieved without using classes.
